DOF Subsea Norway is a leading subsea services and survey company based in Bergen.
It shares an office and warehouse facility with an adjacent quay with DOF Subsea
ASA and DOF Management. The company was established in 1979 and has grown steadily
since its inception. Dag Løyning is the General Manager.
The company aims to meet the challenges posed by industry by having available
the best equipment, vessels and personnel. DOF Subsea Norway has the “know how”
needed to perform the most complex tasks as well as sufficient capacity and flexibility
to meet the demands of large projects and the constantly changing levels of activity
that characterise the industry.
To ensure efficiency and consistently high standards of workmanship and service
quality, DOF Subsea primarily operates its own vessels and equipment. The company’s
quality assurance system, which addresses health, safety and the environment,
ensures the right quality at the right time. DOF Subsea Norway is an ISO 9001:2008
and ISO 14001:2004 certified company.
DOF Subsea Norway, through its vessel management company, DOF Management, has
access to 23 offshore vessels. Through the DOF Subsea Group, DOF Subsea Norway
also has access to 25 ROVs with depth ratings for up to 4,000 metres, and a Hugin
3000 AUV system, recognised as the premium system for deepwater, high resolution
seabed mapping. In addition, the company has access to 11 diving spreads.
DOF Subsea Norway has over 220 highly skilled employees, including freelancers.
In-house expertise includes surveyors, ROV specialists, project managers, geologists,
geophysicists, instrument technicians, cartographers, data processors and draftsmen,
as well as administration and support staff.
DOF Subsea Norway personnel perform all tasks both onshore and offshore.Typical
subsea services provided are within the areas of offshore survey, IRM, construction
support and subsea engineering.
